Renowned prog-rock band to play at Jolly Tar pub near Nantwich

QUALITY prog-rock outfit The Tangent make their debut at The Jolly Tar in Wardle tomorrow (Thursday).

The band is UK-based but internationally known, and have recorded five studio albums.

They have gigged extensively in Europe and further afield in the USA, and each one of their studio releases and their live DVD were voted into the top 10 of every major prog rock poll in Europe.

Local favourites Mutha Humbucker return on Friday with a quality set of rock classics.

The four-piece formed six years ago, having been friends at school 10 years previously.

Their repertoire covers bands such as Def Leppard, AC/DC, Guns ‘n’ Roses, Whitesnake, Stereophonics and Kings of Leon among others.

The Macca Band are back on Saturday to re-create the magic of Sir Paul McCartney – both with The Beatles and Wings.

The band has been wowing audiences since performing their first handful of gigs earlier this year.

All gigs are free and start at 9.30pm. For more details phone 01270 528283.
