Boy band 911 reunite for Warrington show

NINETIES boy band 911 have announced they will be performing a one-off show in Cheshire next month.

The trio – Spike, Jimmy and Lee – are to play Warrington Parr Hall on Saturday, April 16.

Together, they were one of the biggest pop acts of the 90s, known for their amazing stage shows and jaw-dropping dance routines with tracks such as Bodyshakin’, More Than A Woman and Party People.

The three lads appeared on the front cover of every teen mag and became pop pin-ups for thousands of young girls around the world during their five years together.

They were one of only five acts that decade to achieve ten consecutive UK Top Ten hit singles, eight of which made the top five, and included their platinum selling Number One single A Little Bit More.

In February 2000, Lee, Spike and Jimmy decided to go their separate ways and announced their split live on the Chris Moyles Show on Radio 1.

Since then 911 have embarked on individual projects in and out of music.

The Warrington show celebrates the 15th anniversary of the release of their first single, and is a homecoming for Spike.

A tour spokesman said: “This will be 911’s first full live set for over 10 years and they will be performing all of their biggest hits and singing some of their fans’ favourite album tracks.

“The lads have promised to do all their old dance routines plus a few break dancing moves!”

Tickets are priced £22.50-£32.50, available online at www.ticketmaster.co.uk or www.pyramidparrhall.co.uk, or by phoning the box office on 01925 442345.
