HEART-WARMING rags-to-riches musical Annie comes to the Liverpool Empire from March 15-19.
Annie’s adventures from Miss Hannigan’s orphanage to the luxurious home of Oliver Warbucks form a story that has been told across the world for decades.
First seen on stage in 1976, this show deserves its reputation as one of the best loved family musicals of all time.
Star of stage and screen Su Pollard (Hi-de-Hi!) reprises her role as the dastardly Miss Hannigan and David McAlister (Hollyoaks, EastEnders) makes a return as billionaire businessman Oliver Warbucks.
The cast also includes 90s pop star Nicki French as Mrs Greer, Any Dream Will Do’s Rob McVeigh as Bert Healy and West End stalwart Audrey Leybourne playing Mrs Pugh. ŠŠ
The show has a memorable score, including It’s A Hard Knock Life, Easy Street and, of course, Tomorrow.
