Jolly Tar pub near Nantwich to host week of rock and blues

CLASSY duo Stevie Hayes and Les Hunt bring another top night of musicianship to the Jolly Tar in Wardle tomorrow (Thursday).

Hayes is a member of The Barflys and Hunt is from the Climax Blues Band.

Together they promise a set of cracking acoustic rock and blues covers played with feeling and skill.

On Friday prog-rock covers act Sonic Tapestry return.

The band is made up of regular members of the Jolly Tar’s Sunday Jam Nights.

They play a variety of tracks from the likes of Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, The Scorpions, Free and Deep Purple.

Finally on Saturday, Whitesnake and Deep Purple tribute band Deepsnake return with a collection of classic tracks including Smoke On the Water, Here I Go Again, Speed King and Woman From Tokyo.

All bands start at 9.30pm and are free entry.
