Tribute band Electro 80s perform for charity gig at Railway Hotel in Nantwich

PREMIER covers band Electro 80s will perform a charity gig at the Railway Hotel on Friday.

The band pays tribute to an era of New Romantics and has lovingly re-created classic 80s tracks to create a live entertainment show that transports everyone back to the days of underground club scenes and school discos.

Each member of the trio has his own identity and role within the outfit, which travels across the North West for gigs.

Funds will be donated to the Family Holiday Association, which helps disadvantaged families have much-needed breaks away from home.

The show starts at 9.30pm and is ticket-only at £10 each, available from the pub or First Choice travel agent in Swine Market, Nantwich.

Meanwhile, local rockabilly legends Mad Dog are back in town on Saturday.

The band has been on the road for more than 10 years and wowed audiences both at home and abroad.

Mad Dog are guaranteed to leave the crowds begging for more thanks to their unique blend of rock ’n’ roll, blues and country.

The gig is free and starts at 9.30pm. For more details, phone 01270 623482.
