Tatton Park Picnic Concerts announce Tom Jones and Lesley Garrett as headliners

POWERHOUSE music legend Tom Jones has been confirmed as one of the headliners at the Tatton Park Picnic Concerts this summer.

Tickets for the hugely popular event, held over the weekend of July 30-31 are on sale now.

The Halle Fireworks and Light Spectacular will celebrate its 20th year, starring special guest Lesley Garrett on the Saturday while international superstar Jones will put on a show-stopping concert on Sunday 31 July, in association with Francis House Children’s Hospice.

The event celebrates the wonderful British tradition of the picnic as 10,000 concert-goers enjoy scrumptious picnics in the spectacular surrounds before experiencing world-class music and breathtaking firework displays.

Garrett is arguably Britain’s most popular soprano, with 11 solo CDs to her credit, a plethora of awards and a CBE for her Services to Music.

Meanwhile Jones will treat guests to his greatest hits and undeniable charisma, showcasing the distinctive talent that has seen him sell more than 100 million records worldwide.
