AMERICAN comedy play Bus Stop is currently alighting at the New Vic Theatre in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The show, written by William Inge, was a major Broadway hit and a classic of 1950s America, and was a warm-hearted, moving and iconic film starring Marilyn Monroe.
It tells the story of nightclub singer Cherie who, stuck on the Greyhound bus with rodeo rider Bo in a snowstorm, finds herself spending the night with him in a roadside diner. The show runs until February 19. Tickets are £9.50-£18.50, to book phone 01782 717962.
