The Jolly Tar near Nantwich gets ready for string of gigs

ANOTHER packed week of music is ready to be unleashed on the Jolly Tar faithful.

Tonight (Wednesday) sees the return of the Pepper Town Band, which features several members of the popular Salt City Jazzmen and who play traditional jazz in a traditional way.

Tomorrow sees the return of top acoustic duo Stevie Hayes and Les Hunt – top class musicianship and great bluesy rock from The Barflys and Climax Blues Band members.

On Friday, four-piece rock and blues band Traces Of Nutz make their Jolly Tar debut.

The outfit promises a solid set of covers from the likes of The Beatles, Bryan Adams, REM and U2.

And finally on Saturday, clubland trio Casino return with a fine list of 60s tracks from bands such as The Kinks, The Shadows and The Drifters.

All gigs are free admission and get going at 9.30pm.
