Civic Comedy in Nantwich set to return with new faces

COMEDY in South Cheshire is taking a break this month but is back with a brand new line-up at the Civic Comedy in Nantwich.

Tickets have already gone on sale for the show on February 4.

First on the bill is Devonian comic Charlie Baker, a finalist in the BBC New Act Awards in 2005 and hasn't looked back who has since added festival and TV appearances to his CV, including Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

Also appearing is Seann Walsh, who can count Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Mock The Week on his list of credits.

Promoter Mike Ramm said: “Seann has a buzz about him on the circuit. He has that spark, that unquantifiable quality that makes audiences and critics take notice.”

Next up is Australian comic Kent Valentine, who has arrived on the British comedy scene and is already headlining gigs up and down the UK.

Comedy veteran Mike Gunn completes the bill to add to his thousands of gigs. He is also listed as one of the top ten stand up comics in the country by the Independent.

The show is on Friday, February 4. Tickets are £9, to book visit www.d2dhosting.co.uk/civiccomedy.
