COMEDY fans will be in for a treat this December when multi BAFTA award winning comedy star Victoria Wood takes to the stage for the first time in nearly 10 years to host the Angina Monologues, a night of stand-up laughs.
From lost loves and laughter lines to daft diets and doctors’ waiting rooms, the show will see Victoria and a star-studded line up put the heart centre stage.
The one-off night at the London theatre has been organised by the British Heart Foundation to help raise awareness of heart disease in women and will be screened live via special satellite broadcast in selected Vue cinemas nationwide including the cinema at Cheshire Oaks on Sunday, December 5 at 7.30pm.
Women are being encouraged to attend screenings wearing red to mark the occasion and show their support for the Angina Monologues campaign on the night.
