FOLLOWING a well-earned summer break, The Very Best In Stand-Up returns to Nantwich Civic Hall on Friday, September 3 with another top-drawer line-up of comedy talent.
Familiar face Patrick Monahan is a regular on the UK comedy circuit, and has made a number of appearances in South Cheshire under the booking of promoters Mike Ramm and Jon Mitchell.
He has worked as the warm-up act for top comedy programmes including Friday Night with Jonathon Ross and The IT Crowd.
Smug Roberts started out playing comedy shows in Manchester before becoming a headline act in 2000 when he opened the Manchester Comedy Store. He is also a prolific actor and has appeared in Phoenix Nights, 24-Hour Party People and Cutting It.
Gary Delaney is widely regarded as the most quotable man on the circuit and has written for Russell Howard’s Good News, Jason Manford’s Comedy Rocks and BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz.
Finally Canadian Jason John Whitehead has travelled the world, performing his stand up comedy in Australia, New Zealand, Sweden and Ireland.
