GRAMMY award winning songwriter and performer Kris Kristofferson is to perform a show in Manchester following the release of Please Don’t Tell Me How The Story Ends: The Publishing Demos 1968-72.
Kristofferson will play at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on July 31.
It’s been three years since the legendary singer/songwriter, musician and actor has played in the UK and this tour will see him perform tracks from his latest critically acclaimed studio album Closer To The Bone as well as his back catalogue of classic American songs including Me And Bobby McGee, Sunday Morning Coming Down, For The Good Times and Help Me Make It Through The Night.
His most recent album is a 16-track selection of demos which has been produced with the blessing of Kristofferson.
The collection is an amazing snapshot of the formative years of one of the giants of contemporary American music.
Kristofferson’s 2010 live show takes you back to those early halcyon days when he was an artist with just his guitar.
