Show promises to rock ‘n’ roll all night in live spectacular

ROCK ‘n’ roll fans are invited to enjoy an evening with some of music’s biggest ever stars at Crewe’s Lyceum Theatre on Wednesday, May 12.

The show, Rockin’ on Heaven’s Door, has been seen by more than one million people and promises to “send shivers down the spine with spookily convincing portrayals of musical giants including Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Jerry Lee Lewis”.

The show, which is now in its 14th years of touring has received acclaim throughout the UK and Europe.

A show spokesman said: “The end result is a slick, fast moving show that hardly leaves time for the audience to catch its breath.

“It is simply the best show of its kind as our UK and European audiences never tire of telling us.

“It does exactly what it says on the tin so there is no pretentious plot to be hammered into you like a square peg into a round hole.

“This is a rock ‘n’ roll show where the music plays the leading role.

“But this is not a show of characterless waxworks either.

“The incredible band bring to life the spirit of the rock ‘n’ roll era, remind you at every turn why this music has stood the test of time.”

A Lyceum spokeswoman added: “The show delivers the feel-good factor from start to finish. It has been really popular all over Europe so it promises to be a fantastic night.”
