Wartime nostalgia relived at Lyceum in Crewe

THE audience can relive the spirit of the forties in an evening of Hits from the Blitz at Crewe’s Lyceum Theatre on Friday.
The celebration show pays tribute to the legendary stars of the war years, Vera Lynn, Donald Peers, Gracie Fields, George Formby, Bing Crosby, and famous comedians, Rob Wilton, Max Miller and Tessie O’Shea.
This special matinee show promises not only to evoke the spirit of wartime Britain, but to experience the music and laughter that kept Britain smiling through her darkest days.
