CHILLING murder mystery Night Fright promises to be a scream at the Lyceum Theatre in Crewe when it begins a week-long run from Monday.
Former Emmerdale and Bad Girls actor Paul Opacic and Hollyoaks beauty Helen George head up the Ian Dickens production cast as Frank and Jenny Gilman, who think they have found their dream home – a converted chapel in a quiet country village.
The dream soon turns into a nightmare, however, as they are attacked by intruders who seem, for some reason, to be only interested in the contents of Frank and Jenny’s deep freezer.
Theatre spokeswoman Philippa Unett said: “Why is the spade covered in blood? To whom to do the blood stained clothes in the chimney belong? And why are the locals lying to the Gilmans?
“Frank and Jenny investigate and the true horror of their situation soon emerges in this taut and exciting, yet often blackly hilarious, horror thriller.”
The show runs from Monday until Saturday, April 24. Shows start at 7.30pm, with a 2.30pm matinee, and tickets are priced £9.50-£17.50; to book phone the box office on 01270 537 333 or visit www.lyceumtheatre.net
