Percussion genius Evelyn Glennie returns to Bridgewater Hall in Manchester

THE world’s first and most famous solo percussionist, Dame Evelyn Glennie, returns to The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on tomorrow. Two of the works she will perform, by Zivkovic and Psathas, were written specially for her.
The Bridgewater Hall programme also includes her own arrangement of a Vivaldi Piccolo Recorder Concerto, and a version of Steve Reich’s Clapping Music.
