David Benson pays tribute to the music of Noel Coward at the Manchester Library Theatre

ACTOR and performer David Benson pays tribute to the legendary Noël Coward in a one-man show that comes to the Library Theatre in Manchester on Sunday at 7.30pm.

When Benson was 12, his grandfather gave him a 78rpm record of Noël Coward singing his comic patter song The Stately Homes of England. He was instantly hooked and a lifelong affection of Coward began.

In the show, Coward’s songs are performed by Benson, reprising to the role he played in the BBC’s Goodnight Sweetheart.

Tickets are £15. Ring 0161 236 7110 or visit www.librarytheatre.com.
