Clonter Opera Theatre in Swettenham hosts folk evening

SWETTENHAM’S Clonter Opera Theatre turns to folk’s finest on Saturday.
MC is exciting new act Geoff Chaucer Junior, who will be joined by quirky quartet The New Rope String Band, a talented group of musicians playing beautiful and invigorating acoustic music from various traditions across the world.
Also on the bill is singer Bram Taylor, who has a repertoire of traditional songs, mixed with contemporary and humorous material, performed on acoustic guitar, duet concertina or unaccompanied.
The show starts at 7pm and tickets are £16, which includes a 70-minute supper interval. To book, phone the box office on 01260 224514.
