Suitcase Ensemble bring Clunk to Liverpool and Runcorn

A REFRESHING new comedy from Liverpool- based theatre collective The Suitcase Ensemble comes to the Unity Theatre, Liverpool, this week.

Clunk follows the daily drudgery of three cohabiting young adults struggling to engage with a world that baffles them.

With an informal comedic style, set off by beautiful and surreal dream sequences, this is a unique piece of theatre that will be enjoyed by fans of comedy and puppetry and anyone who likes a good existential ponder.

Following a successful premiere in June 2009, Clunk has been further developed by The Suitcase Ensemble with additional visual and puppet direction from Liz Walker of surreal puppet company Faulty Optic.

This new version of the show is now touring to venues in the North West and Yorkshire, taking the company’s unique style of visual comedy theatre across the region.

Clunk is at the Unity Theatre, Liverpool, on Friday and Saturday (0844 873 2888) and at The Brindley, Runcorn, on Thursday, March 25 (0151 907 8360).
