X Factor star Jonathan Ansell stars at Opera House

JONATHAN Ansell, who won the hearts of the nation as lead vocalist in X Factor runners-up G4, is to star in Whistle Down the Wind at Manchester Opera House.
The touching drama – embodying the innocence of youth – won the hearts of a generation when young Hayley Mills starred opposite Alan Bates in the film version.
Now Ansell hopes he can achieve similar success in Bill Kenwright’s production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical interpretation.
The musical is at the Opera House from Monday, March 22, to Saturday, April 3, with matinees on the Thursday and the Saturday (2.30pm). Tickets are £10.50 to £34. The box office, which charges a booking fee, is on 0844 847 2295.
