Irish folk band Dervish come to the New Vic Theatre

TRADITIONAL Irish music at its best comes to north Staffordshire next week as Dervish visit the New Vic Theatre.
County Sligo’s finest export have toured the world, from The Great Wall of China to St Patrick’s Day celebrations in the USA to Brazil’s Rio Festival and 250,000 people.
With 10 albums and two DVDs, the band has received numerous awards including Trad Band of the Year from Hot Press – Ireland’s top music publication – and Irish Music Magazine’s Band of the Year.
