Simply Red return for summer gig at Haydock Park

IF ONE appearance at Delamere Forest this year isn’t enough for Simply Red fans, the band have announced a show at Haydock Park in July.

Simply Red are returning to the racecourse more than a decade after an earlier triumphant show at the venue.

With a career spanning more than 25 years in the music industry, Simply Red, fronted by legendary British soul singer Mick Hucknall, will be performing hit after hit from Money’s Too Tight (To Mention) through to Holding Back The Years, If You Don’t Know Me By Now, Stars and Fairground.

Dickon White, Haydock Park Racecourse’s managing director, said: “Haydock Park’s summer series of music nights after horse racing has just got better year after year.”
