Pasadena Roof Orchestra in New Vic Theatre visit

JAZZ and swing classics enter the New Vic Theatre, Newcastle-under-Lyme tomorrow (Thursday) with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra.
The musicians and singers will perform a repertoire from the greatest entertainers of this golden era, including Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, Duke Ellington and Billie Holliday, accompanied with a dose of British wit and humour.
Theatre spokeswoman Clare Hargreaves said: “The orchestra has toured the world, and whether you love hot jazz classics, the thrill of swing or the evergreens of the ‘20s and ‘30s, this evening is for you.”
The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £13-£17.50. To book, phone the box office on 01782 717962.
