Henry Winkler stars in Liverpool panto Peter Pan

‘EYYY! Happy Days legend Henry ‘the Fonz’ Winkler leads an all-star cast in the all-singing, all-dancing, all-flying version of the JM Barrie children’s classic Peter Pan at The Empire Theatre in Liverpool this Christmas.

The 64-year-old is making his panto debut as the villainous Captain Hook in the star-laden production.

Joining him are Atomic Kitten Natasha Hamilton, who takes the title role as the boy who never grew up.

Meanwhile Liverpool favourite Les Dennis returns following his triumph in last year’s Cinderella, this time donning the dame’s skirts and wig.

The show from First Family Entertainment also promises thrills and spills as audience members join Peter, Wendy and the Lost Boys on their journey to save Tinkerbell from the villainous Captain Hook, his bumbling sidekick Smee and their crew of dastardly pirates.

A theatre spokesman said: “Fly away with us this Christmas as we take you on a spectacular journey of wonder and excitement into the magical world of Neverland.”

Peter Pan runs until January 3. Shows start at varying times and tickets are priced £13.50-£26, to book phone the box office on 0844 847 2525 or visit www.liverpoolempire.org.uk.
