HEAVY metal legends Kiss will play the MEN Arena in Manchester next spring as part of their Sonic Boom Over Europe: From The Beginning To The Boom tour.
The Gene Simmons fronted band will be performing tracks from their latest album, Sonic Boom, alongside their hard rock classics Detroit Rock City, Rock And Roll All Nite, God Gave Rock And Roll To You, I Was Made For Lovin’ You and Crazy, Crazy Nights.
The face-painted rockers – Gene Simmons’s The Demon, Paul Stanley’s Starchild, Ace Frehley’s Spaceman and Peter Criss’s Catman – have sold more than 80 million albums worldwide since forming in New York in 1973.
Having established themselves as one of the great live rock bands, Kiss were named by VH1 in their top ten list of the ‘100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock’ and, earlier this year, were nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Sonic Boom is the band’s first studio album in more than 10 years.
Tickets for the Monday, May 10 gig, their first English arena show in over a decade, are on sale now, priced £40. They are available via the 24-hour Ticketmaster hotline 0844 847 8000 or the official website men-arena.com.
