THE Highfield Male Voice Choir is presenting a concert of festive favourites in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
An Evening of Festive Cheer, which takes place at Sandymoor Community Centre, Runcorn, on Tuesday, December 15, at 7.30pm, will see the choir joined by performers from HEARTS (Halton Entertainment Art Theatre School).
The evening has been organised by Susanne Bennett – whose son Thomas, six, has cystic fibrosis – along with friend and choir member Chris Riley.
Chris said: “We are thrilled that the two choirs have given their time to help us raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
“We are really looking forward to the evening, which will be an uplifting start to the Christmas festivities.
“We hope lots of people will come and join us and raise money for a very important cause.”
He added: “It will help to provide support, advice and appropriate clinical care to the 8,000 babies, children and young adults who have cystic fibrosis in the UK.”
Tickets are now on sale. They are priced at £5 for adults and £2.50 for children and are available from Susanne on 07588 864 637. Alternatively, telephone Chris on 07714 456 809.
