ROY ‘CHUBBY’ BROWN (Victoria Hall, Hanley, December 15)
FOUL-mouthed comedian Roy ‘Chubby’ Brown will be turning the festive air blue when he returns to the Victoria Hall at Hanley on Tuesday.
The goggle-wearing funnyman will be unleashing his latest show on audiences donning his traditional multi-coloured funny suit and flying helmet.
His videos and DVDs have sold in their millions, though his material is considered by the TV stations and many others to be offensive, even after three decades of touring.
Many will also remember his crude cameo appearance on Smokie’s 1995 number one hit Living Next Door To Alice.
He says: “As soon as I put on the hat and goggles, my whole persona changes.”
The show starts at 7.30pm.
For tickets, priced £20, phone the box office on 0844 871 7627.
