Aussie stand-up Jim Jeffries tops the bill at M Comedy Club

CONTROVERSIAL and razor-tongued Aussie stand-up Jim Jeffries tops the bill at the M Comedy Club tomorrow (Thursday).

Jim’s show at the High Street club follows his fifth consecutive sold-out appearance at the Edinburgh Festival.

Having made his mark on the USA with his comedy special I Swear to God Jeffries is back in the UK for a limited time.

An event spokesman said: “His confrontational classics coupled with a load of outrageous new material that is sure to offend, enrage and further endorse his reputation as the man who’s ‘better than Jesus’.

“His rise has been nothing short of meteoric. He’s a comedian whose act is delivered with the swagger of a rock star, a performer who The Times described as ‘electrifying’.

Now living in Hollywood, Jim was the only international comic performing his own show at the new Just For Laughs Festival in Chicago.

He is currently making his own show for Comedy Central entitled The Jim Jeffries Show.

Club spokesman Mike Ramm added: His unprecedented rise in the comedy world is due to his charming storytelling which has made him one of the most sought after comedians on the world stage.

“His no holds barred delivery ensures audiences are either kept at the edge of their seats or falling off them.”
