The Stranglers to play O2 Academy in Liverpool

MUSICAL icons The Stranglers are celebrating the release of a greatest hits package with a UK tour that comes to the O2 Academy in Liverpool on March 5 next year.
First formed in 1974, the band’s straight-talking approach gave them the reputation as aggressive and confrontational.
Their notoriety was later embraced by the punk movement of 1977.
This led to their debut single Grip and their legendary first album Rattus Norvegicus.
The band have had 23 UK top 40 singles and 17 UK top 40 albums to date.
