Blitz Kids return to The Box in Crewe for hometown gig

FOLLOWING a barnstorming relaunch of the band in the summer, the freshly inspired Blitz Kids return to The Box for a hometown gig in Crewe on Saturday.

The riotous indie rockers unleash their new five-track EP Decisions in October through LAB/Small Town.

And the South Cheshire five-piece bring their explosive live set to the venue as part of a string of dates with stable mates Cuba Cuba.

Having worked with producer Romesh Dodangoda (FFAF, Kids in Glass Houses, The Blackout, Twin Atlantic) several times in the last year Cuba Cuba have drawn the attention of quite a few people.

Recording a BBC Radio 1 Live Session for Huw Stevens and Bethan Elfyn’s shows in March 2009, also receiving airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio Wales, Xfm and Nation Radio as well as guest hosting Nation Radio’s first ever date.

They’ve shared stages with the likes of Funeral For a Friend and Friendly Fires.

Further support comes from Crewe band Panda Sumos and Igloo Invasion.
