Anne Frank’s diary performed at the Brindley.

THE Centenary Theatre Company will breathe new life into Anne Frank’s diary at Runcorn’s Brindley theatre.

A specially-adapted stage production of the tragic Jewish girl’s famous memoirs, written during the Second World War, will run from February 9-12.

The diary chronicles her experience of hiding in her Amsterdam home for more than two years during the Nazi occupation of Holland.

Anne died of typhus in Bergen Belsen concentration camp, just weeks before the Nazis were defeated.

Her diary has since been translated into 50 languages.
