Lesley Garrett teams up with Manchester Camerata for Christmas concert in Llandudno

AS PART of Venue Cymru’s International Concert Series in Llandudno, Lesley Garrett, Britain’s most popular soprano, presents a gala evening of seasonal songs to celebrate Christmas and the New Year.

She will also perform opera and classical arias from her most recent album, Amazing Grace, when she appears at Venue Cymru tomorrow evening at 7.30pm.

Accompanying Lesley will be the one of the UK’s most versatile orchestras, Manchester Camerata, conducted by Philip Ellis.

Renowned for her unique talents which cover opera, television, radio, concerts and the West End, Lesley has recently starred in Carousel and The Sound of Music, appeared on television in Strictly Come Dancing, Loose Women and Comic Relief Does Fame Academy and sung with the English National and Welsh National operas.

The programme will include music by Mozart, Vivaldi, Puccini, John Rutter and seasonal songs.
