ONE of the nation’s favourite impressionists, Alistair McGowan, brings his one man and several voices show to Stoke’s Victoria Hall on Saturday.
He is promising to bring along a whole host of his legendary celebrity impressions and introduce never-before-heard voices along the way.
A show spokesman said: “There will be no make-up or costume changes – just one man, a microphone and a multitude of voices.”
Alistair is best known for his work with Ronni Ancona on The Big Impression, where he introduced the nation to his takes on David Beckham, Sven-Göran Eriksson, Gary Lineker, Nicky Campbell, Richard Madeley, Tony Blair and Dot Cotton, among others.
After a series of stage roles in shows such as Little Shop of Horrors and Noël Coward’s classic comedy Semi-Monde, Alistair is returning to what he loves the most, impressions.
A theatre spokesman said:ГWe are delighted to welcome Alistair to Stoke.
