Tip Top Productions prepare to stage Aladdin at Chester’s Forum Studio Theatre

CHESTER audiences will be able to enjoy their first traditional family panto in the city centre since the 1960s, courtesy of Tip Top Productions.

The company which is now based at The Forum Studio Theatre in the former Gateway Theatre building, is staging Aladdin from December 15-January 3.

Tip Top decided to bring Peter Swingler's annual festive fun packed show to the intimate setting of the Forum.

Peter has been writing and directing pantomimes for more than 30 years and always tailors his local script to family audiences with the emphasis on fun.

Playing the pivotal role of the panto villain Abanazar is Tony Prince who was such a hit as Fagin last summer when Tip Top played to packed houses at Clwyd Theatr Cymru with Oliver!

Threatening to bring the house down with his infectious humour as the outrageous dame Widow Twankey is Ellesmere Port's Ali Babakordi.

Tickets are selling fast so to avoid disappointment contact 01244 341296; www.tiptopproductions.co.uk or in person on Saturdays 10am-3pm.
