Mad Dog Davies Band back at Railway Hotel in Nantwich

ROCKABILLY at its finest returns to The Railway Hotel in Nantwich on Friday.

The band has been on the road for over 10 years and wowed audiences both at home and abroad.

They are guaranteed to leave the crowds begging for more thanks to their unique blend of rock ‘n’ roll, blues and country.

The formidable presence of vocalist Bryn ‘Mad Dog’ Davies gives the performance an extra edge that led to Offbeat magazine in the USA describing him as “Awesome.... a front man most bands would die for.”

As well as regular appearances at the Isle Of Man TT and the summer festival circuit, the band continue to gain a loyal and growing following at pubs and clubs throughout the UK.

Frequent guests include Anglin Buttermore who is Shakin’ Stevens’ former piano player, and with more gigs on the continent in the pipeline, the prospects are good.

Landlord Nigel Humphries said: “These guys are an inspiration to rockabilly country, and this is a great chance to see them locally.

“We would advise people to get here early because the pub is always full when they play.”

The band starts at 9.30pm and admission is free. For more information phone Nigel at the pub on 01270 623482.
