Dave Spikey visits Manchester Palace Theatre

IF YOU missed comedian Dave Spikey at his recent visit to the Lyceum in Crewe, you can catch him again at the Palace Theatre in Manchester on Saturday.

The double British Comedy Award-winner brings a doctor’s bag full of new gags to tackle the old adage ‘laughter is the best medicine’.

He claims that scientific evidence proves that laughter boosts the immune system, reduces stress and blood pressure, and best of all, burns calories.

Spikey has become something of a household name as a co-writer and star of Phoenix Nights alongside Peter Kay, a team captain on the Channel 4 panel game show 8 Out Of 10 Cats, and as host of the resurrected Bullseye.

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £18.50, to book phone the box office on 0844 847 2277.
