Rock ‘n’ roll legend Chuck Berry comes to Llandudno

THE legendary Chuck Berry returns to the UK with special guests The Blues Band with Paul Jones.

The tour arrives at Venue Cymru in Llandudno on Sunday, December 6 at 7.30pm.

Chuck Berry’s music has transcended generations. He is known as the ‘father of rock ’n’ roll’ for his extraordinary series of hit records including Johnny B Goode, Maybellene and Memphis.

Born in St Louis on October 18, 1926 Berry had many influences in his life that shaped his musical style. He emulated the smooth vocal clarity of his idol, Nat King Cole, while playing blues songs from bands like Muddy Waters.

His popularity garnered him television and movie appearances and he toured frequently. 1986 fittingly saw him inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as the very first inductee in history.
