Glenn Tilbrook brings UK tour to Wrexham and Wirral

SQUEEZE legend Glenn Tilbrook is making a welcome return to the area with gigs in Wrexham and Wirral this month.

Having recently returned from a two-week expedition scaling the heights of Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of the Love Hope Strength Foundation, you’d think Glenn Tilbrook would be in need of a well-deserved rest.

Instead he’s taking time off from his bands, The Fluffers and a reformed Squeeze, to plot a solo tour calling at venues all across the UK in November and December.

Tilbrook is one of the UK’s best-loved musicians, thanks to a 30-year career spawning hits such as Cool For Cats, Tempted and Up The Junction.

In March this year he released Pandemonium Ensues, his first full album with The Fluffers, featuring collaborations with Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis.

On Tuesday, November 24, at 7.30pm, he will be at Central Station in Wrexham. Tickets are £14 on the door. Ring 0870 444 5556 or visit www.centralstationvenue.co.uk. On Wednesday, November 25, he moves to the Pacific Road Arts Centre in Birkenhead. Tickets are £16. Ring 0151 666 0000 or visit www.pacificroad.co.uk.
