COLDPLAY tribute act Coldplace are guaranteed a warm welcome when they return to The Limelight club in Crewe on Saturday.
The tribute to Chris Martin and the boys are from the sunny east coast town of Grimsby, who say they strive to recreate the passion and feeling that comes from a live Coldplay performance.
A spokesman for the band says: “We believe we are the most authentic tribute you will see.
“Front man Shane Crofts perfectly recreates the melancholic tones of Chris Martin and so naturally moves around stage and talking jibberish, just like the real thing.”
Coldplace have now been playing together for five years, with The Limelight being their first ever gig outside the Grimsby area.
Since their 2004 formation, they have performed at some fantastic venues across the world, including in Malta and the Dominican Republic.
Fans can expect to hear some of Coldplay’s greatest hits at the Hightown venue on Saturday such as In My Place, Yellow, The Scientist and Viva La Vida.
Tickets are £6 and doors open at 8pm. To book in advance phone the box office on 01270 251929 or visit www.crewelimelight.co.uk
