PUNK band Sham 69 will be playing at The Box in Crewe on Saturday, supported by Fake Heroes, Senseless and Butterfingers.
With new frontman, Tim V and line-up including Dave Parsons and Ian White, the band has recently been touring the USA, Japan and Russia, Australia and China.
They have also played at major festivals across Europe alongside the Sex Pistols and Primal Scream.
Angels with Dirty Faces and If The Kids are United gave the band two top 20 singles in 1978.
World Cup inspired track Hurry up England also gave them a top 40 UK hit and their greatest hits were re-released in 2008.
The band formed at the beginning of the British Punk era in 1975.
Often hailed as punk legends, founding members Dave Parsons and Jimmy Pursey formed the band in Hersham, going on to sign with Polydor Records.
Jimmy Pursey joined the Sex Pistols for a time after Johnny Rotten’s departure but came back to Sham 69 to produce a fourth album.
Tickets are £10 and available from www.theboxcrewe.co.uk.
