THIS moving and revolutionary rock version of Puccini’s opera La Boheme has arrived at Hanley’s Regent Theatre.
Audiences are invited to experience the turbulent world of a group of young bohemians battling to find love, joy and hope in the depths of despair. Director Tim Churchill says: “Of course, we have kept many of the iconic features that the die-hard Rent fans will love, but we have tried to simplify the staging in order for the audience to follow the complex and intricate plot.”

TELEVISION psychic Sally Morgan brings her Audience With show on Monday.
She has embarked on a UK tour following the success of her own TV show Sally Morgan Star Psychic.
She made a name for herself when she worked with Princess Diana, providing her with personal readings for more than four years.
She claims her psychic power has been with her since she was nine months old, and has since built up a reputation based on her close relationships with many high-profile celebrities.
In the show, she will be giving psychic readings to audience members as part of the evening.

Blood Brothers (Opera House, Manchester, until October 24)
NOLAN sister Linda Nolan takes the reins from Maureen in the latest touring production of Blood Brothers.
The play is set in Liverpool in the 1960s and tells the story of twin boys separated at birth, and a mother’s haunting secret.
This celebrated role has been played by such well known actresses as Stephanie Lawrence, Kiki Dee and Lyn Paul, as well as two of Linda’s other sisters Bernie and Denise.
Hailed by critics as ‘the greatest musical of the decade’, Blood Brothers has been running in London’s West End since July 1988, scooping up four Best Musical Awards.

FRESH from his sell-out 2008 tour Gaping Flaws, Russell Kane returns for his highly anticipated new show Human Dressage.
He brings with him his trademark fast-paced style by applying the association of horse trials to human behaviour, such as the way we perform dances to attain approval and acceptance.
The 30-year-old is quickly emerging in the comedy world, having started his career in 2004 and since appearing at comedy festivals the world over and bagging a handful of television appearances.
