Freddie Starr visits Hanley’s Victoria Hall

MADCAP comedy legend Freddie Starr is back thrilling audiences and appears at the Victoria Hall in Hanley on Sunday.

He is famous for his mimics, jokes and slapstick humour, and is also an accomplished actor, ballad singer and impressionist.

But he became notorious after The Sun newspaper printed the famous headline ‘Freddie Starr ate my hamster’.

Victoria Hall spokesman Dave Bradbury says: “Freddie has long since established himself as one of the all-time greats, with his place in the Comedy Hall of Fame assured.”
