ANTI-GLAM five-piece Soft Toy Emergency bounce into The Box in Pedley Street, Crewe, on Friday.
Their visit is part of a selective run of dates following powerhouse performances at the Glastonbury, Leeds and Reading, V and Isle of Wight festivals.
They are a lycra-tight Liverpudlian electro-pop band fronted by feisty singer Jen.
The outfit have been touring like demons throughout 2009, cramming in as many house parties as possible along the way.
Armed with a set of infectious single-worthy tunes, they aim to get everyone moving.
Following a year of increasingly feverish shows and supports with the likes of Hadouken, Friendly Fires, Iglu and Hartley and CSS, Soft Toy Emergency follow a handful of often swapped and shared demos with their new single Critical.
They say: “Our mission is to inject you with our squelchy electro, coercing you into a state of divine gyration.”
The gig also features Rob The Rich, Lost Response, Fake Heroes and Photo Booth Smile.
It starts at 8pm with admission £6 in advance, visit www.thebox.co.uk.
