Dance judge Craig Revel Horwood to entertain Llandudno audiences

STRICTLY Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood is set to take a break from casting judgement on dancing celebrities to cast some spells on North Wales audiences.

The choreographer, best known for his straight talking on the BBC show, will be appearing in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Venue Cymru, Llandudno, this Christmas and said he can’t wait to stay in the region.

He said: “I think North Wales is absolutely beautiful and I love the sense of village you get here.”

Craig will don make up, wigs and dresses when he takes on the role of the Wicked Queen in the show.

“The costumes I’ve got are outrageous,” he said.

“It’s going to be good fun and it’s a fantastic part.”

Performances will start immediately after Craig finishes this series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Craig said: “We’ve got a great line up this year and I always get really excited when all the couples walk down the stairs for the first time.

“I can never tell which of the celebrities are going to be good dancers until they’ve taken their first steps but boxer Joe Calzaghe might be all right, he’s got the nimble feet and the timing.

“The panto will be a great follow up to Strictly.”

Starring alongside the dancer will be Eurovision finalist Mark Evans, Gemma James as Snow White and Ian Dring who will play the Wicked Queen’s sidekick Chambers.

The show will run from December 14 until January 3 and tickets can be booked by calling 01492 872000 or visiting www.venuecymru.co.uk.
