RICHARD O’Brien’s iconic and risqué stage show The Rocky Horror Show promises to have its audience singing and dancing all night long at the Regent Theatre on Monday.
The cult show, first performed 36 years ago, has gained millions of fans during the last four decades.
This fresh touring production comes to Hanley until Saturday, October 3.
It stars Olivier Award-winning David Bedella as the sexually liberated deviant Frank N Furter and is directed by Christopher Luscombe.
The show, which is packed with sing-along hits such as The Timewarp, tells the story of engaged sweethearts Brad and Janet who are forced to seek refuge in a castle full of the maddest, baddest and sexiest group the world has ever seen.
One of the production’s most endearing qualities is dedicated fans who take the plunge and cross-dress to feel involved.
A theatre spokesman said: “Get ready for a night of fun, frolics and frivolity in this thrilling production of Richard O’Brien’s classic original script.
“It’s ready to thrill you with its frothy fun and naughty moments. This is the boldest bash of them all, so sharpen those stilettos for the rockiest ride of your life.
“Be warned, this show has rude parts.”
