Tickets still available for Harlequin Theatre’s 2009 curtain raiser

TWENTY of Shakespeare’s most famous female creations come together to raise the curtain for a new season at Northwich’s award-winning Harlequin Theatre.

And When Love Speaks hits the stage this week at the group’s Queen Street HQ.

Acclaimed director Gordon Hamlin said: “The production is an anthology of Shakespeare’s speeches and sonnets linked with music and an astute commentary on what makes each of the women tick.”

A flurry of familiar faces return, and the all-female cast promises to provide a stunning start to the 2009/10 season.

And When Love Speaks runs from Thursday-Saturday, September 10-12. Tickets, costing £6 and £5 for full-time students, are available on 01606 353534.
