HUGELY popular sitcom Dinnerladies comes to The Lowry in Salford Quays next week in a new stage adaptation.
Victoria Wood’s creation still retains some of the original cast, with Andrew Dunn, who played Tony, and Sue Devaney, who was Jane, part of the touring cast in a world premiere.
The play is based on the second TV series, following the reluctant love story of Bren and Tony, egged on by Dolly, Jean, Twinkle and Anita.
Dinnerladies runs from Monday until Saturday, September 12. Shows start at 7.30pm, with 2.30pm matinees on the Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets are priced from £14-£24 – to book, phone 0870 787 5780.
