A ONE-off reunion of Nantwich band Innuendo will be among the highlights of the Bands @ The Boot festival this weekend.
The four-day event at The Boot and Shoe in Hospital Street, Nantwich, will be opened up by the re-formed act on Friday from 8-10pm.
The five-piece had previously separated and gone on to play in other bands, but have agreed to get back together for one night only.
The festival fever carries over into Saturday, starting again at 3.30pm with singer-pianist Orli Nyles, who was recently seen on TV in the Chris Moyles House Band.
Then from 8pm top quality blues band Atlanta Roots entertain the crowd, drawing on a wealth of experience gained from performing with artists such as Eric Clapton, The Who, and 10cc.
Sunday brings vocalist Kerri-Leigh Davies to The Boot and Shoe from 1-3pm, while promising newcomers The Hayley Faye band give two 20-minute sets from 4.30pm.
The Electro 80s return following their rousing appearance last year to round the night off in cheesy retro style.
Bank Holiday Monday brings the festivities to a close, with blues outfit The Bill Daison band on from 4-6pm.
Landlord Nigel Sumner says: “After the runaway success of last year’s free mini music festival, Bands @ The Boot makes a long awaited return, and even better, there’s no need to bring your tent!”
