Aussie comedian Tim Minchin brings the laughs to The Lowry

AUSSIE musical comedian Tim Minchin brings his Ready for This? tour to The Lowry in Salford Quays next week.
The wacky comic, who has been described as Australia’s answer to Russell Brand, is back on the road with his piano following a sell-out tour last year.
In 2005, Minchin became the most talked about act of the Edinburgh Fringe, garnering sell-out shows, five star reviews and the Perrier Best Newcomer Award.
A Lowry spokesman said: “Back from a massive Australian tour, Tim wants to know if you are Ready For This, without really specifying what this is.”
Shows start at 7.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday, September 1-2. Tickets are £17.50, phone the box office on 0870 787 5780 to book.
