Christ Church legend at next Hanley Organ Prom

OXFORD’s Christ Church Cathedral organist Clive Driskill-Smith is the man in the hot seat for the Victoria Hall Organ Prom in Hanley next week.

The 31-year-old is one of the leading organists of his generation, with critics praising his “blazing technique” and “unbelievable virtuosity”.

Pieces to be performed include Cocker’s Tuba Tune, Handel’s Organo Concerto op 4 No 5, Franck‘s Piece Heroique and Rhosymedre by Vaughan Williams.

The performance starts at noon on Saturday, August 22.
